Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of drivers, including daily oversight, coaching, and performance management.
• Assign and adjust routes and carrier responsibilities to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Provide real-time support to drivers throughout their routes, resolving service, safety, and equipment issues.
• Serve as the escalation point for customer concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Communicate with drivers and internal teams via phone, Teams, and video.
• Collaborate with logistics, customer service, and quality teams to drive service excellence.
• Track, trace, and update the status of daily waste removal routes using internal systems.
• Monitor route performance and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new drivers and provide ongoing coaching.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement operational enhancements.
• Monitor waste storage areas, documentation, equipment, and procedures from the Saginaw, MI yard.

Job Purpose

As a Logistics Manager based out of our Saginaw, MI yard, you will lead a team of drivers while coordinating daily logistics operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality waste collection services.
