Job summary

Grace is looking for a Logistics Supervisor to oversee and manage logistics and warehouse operations at the Curtis Bay plant in Baltimore, MD. The role reports to the Site Logistics, Shipping & Receiving Manager and requires a Monday–Friday schedule with one Saturday per month.

You will coordinate shipping, receiving, and distribution, work with carriers and customers to ensure timely delivery, and implement cost-saving improvements while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of transportation modes including OTR, TL, LTL, rail, ocean, air, and bulk shipments.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all shipping, receiving, and distribution operations.
• Work closely with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, customer service, and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, adjusting ordering and storage as necessary.
• Track order fulfillment, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Supervise warehouse staff, coordinating scheduling, and managing productivity and performance.
• Maintain and report records on warehouse operations and productivity.
