Job summary

Grace, a Standard Industries company, is seeking a Production Coordinator / Plant Scheduler for our Curtis Bay facility to translate master plans into daily schedules and manage chemical material movements.

You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics and EHS to maintain batch and continuous production, inventory accuracy, and schedule adherence. Experience with SAP and Excel is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of production scheduling, material control, or logistics execution in chemical/industrial plant.
• Experience with SAP for production tracking and inventory movement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, publish, and maintain daily and weekly plant production schedules for batch and continuous chemical processes.
• Translate master production plans into sequence-optimized daily operation targets, allocations and execution schedules.
• Monitor real-time throughput against schedule and adjust to avoid bottlenecks or downtime.
• Lead daily scheduling alignment meetings with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics to set priorities.
• Coordinate movement of raw chemicals, intermediates, packaging, and finished goods across storage units.
• Create daily game plans translating schedules into actionable work orders and priorities.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely load/unload and on-site/off-site transport of inventory.
• Monitor tank levels and storage limits to prevent outages or overflow.
• Utilize SAP or ERP for material movements, backflushes, counts, and reconciliations.
