Job summary

Milo’s Tea Company in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead the warehouse and shipping teams for a shift. You will coach hourly associates, drive safety, quality, and service, and collaborate across departments to improve inventory management, labor productivity, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a hands-on leader with a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years in distribution or supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 3–5 years in distribution/warehouse or supply chain management.
  • Food/beverage and/or consumer packaged goods experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP, WMS, and WES systems preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain a culture of safety through regular floor presence, engaging with team members across functions to identify improvement opportunities, and ensure completion of relevant training and observations.
  • Ensure all team members follow standard work procedures to allow for accurate inventory counts across all raw materials and finished goods locations.
  • Develop and sustain a staffing model to meet inbound and outbound shipment requirements, while striving to be a shipper of choice for carriers.
  • Hire, train, develop, and grow a team of hourly associates to exceed customer expectations and deliver strong financial results.
  • Fulfill responsibilities related to Food Safety and Quality and other duties as necessary.
  • Supervise the team and perform supervisory duties as part of the role.

Position

Logistics Supervisor — responsible for managing and coordinating activities for the warehouse and shipping departments for a given shift. You will coach, guide, and mentor a group of associates to foster a culture of safety, quality, and service. You will collaborate across departments and sites to drive continuous improvement in inventory management, labor productivity, and customer service activities.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The role requires regular use of hands, reaching, vision, speaking, and hearing. Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, and extreme cold may occur. The noise level is typically loud.
