Job summary

JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to support the branch operations in Fort Worth, TX. You will coordinate operations and service levels, assist managers with budgeting, and ensure timely reporting to the corporate office while supervising branch staff.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic logistics environment. 100% on-site office work with potential travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Job description

JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.The Logistics Supervisors support the management team in order to maximize the results of the branch through the optimization of operational execution and delivery of service for customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in supply chain and logistics
• 3+ years' experience in related field
• 1+ years' experience in leadership
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel
• Familiar with logistics process

The salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 based on skills and experience.

ENVIRONMENT

• 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. National and International travel will be (up to ___%) required in support of the position's responsibilities.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
