Job summary

Teledyne FLIR Defense seeks a detail‑oriented Shipping/Receiving Associate to coordinate shipments, manage stockroom inventory, and support cycle counts. You will verify incoming/outgoing shipments, label packages, and collaborate with carriers to ensure timely deliveries.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2–5 years of related experience, SAP/ERP familiarity, and strong communication skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of directly related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience of ERP/MRP programs, preferably SAP.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand ~80% of day.
• Detail oriented with strong SAP transaction accuracy.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with SAP, SharePoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of ISO9000 is a plus; ITAR experience is preferred.
• DOT, IATA, and/or IMO hazardous waste training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments with carriers to schedule pick-ups and track shipments.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
• Label, package, and affix shipping information to cartons.
• Maintain stockroom inventory and perform cycle counts.
• Assist with annual cycle counting requirements and FIFO material usage.
• Resolve SAP transactional issues and perform material analysis.
• Work with Purchasing, Planning, and Quality on material disposition.
• Assist on facility tasks as necessary.
