Job summary

Teledyne FLIR Defense is seeking a Materials Handler / Inventory Specialist to support manufacturing and engineering operations. This hands-on role covers receiving, labeling, stocking, and transporting materials to keep products moving efficiently.

You will help maintain inventory accuracy, assist shipping/receiving, and sustain a well-organized stockroom in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ERP/MRP familiarity are valued, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, stockroom, or logistics environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock, handle, issue, and kit materials to support production and engineering activities
• Support shipping and receiving operations, including documentation and transaction processing

• Ensure materials are properly stored, identified, and handled according to established procedures

Join our team as a Material Handler / Inventory Specialist and play a key role in supporting manufacturing and engineering operations. In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for receiving, handling, labeling, stocking, and transporting materials to ensure products and projects move efficiently through the organization. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, support shipping and receiving activities, and contribute to a well-organized, high-performing stockroom environment. Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
