Job summary

Raise is hiring a Logistics Specialist for a 6-month contract in Orlando, FL. You will perform SAP-based receiving, inspection, packing, shipping, stocking, and other duties under the team leader's guidance.

You must operate forklifts, lift 50–70 lbs, and be flexible for first or second shift onsite at Orlando, 32822.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver license is required.
• 2+ years forklift and hand truck operation experience.
• 2+ years warehouse or logistics experience.
• 1+ year ERP experience and strong Excel/Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials using SAP and verify paperwork.
• Inspect for damage and correct quantity; ensure proper packaging.
• Process shipments to customers worldwide; stock materials.
• Maintain cycle counts and locate materials as needed.
• Operate forklifts/pallet jacks; work flexible shifts including nights.
• Assist in other areas of Materials as assigned.

• Schedule:
  • 1st Shift | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Job Overview

The Logistics Specialist will be working in a warehouse environment with duties that include, but are not limited to, processing orders utilizing SAP, Inspection and Receiving, Packing, Shipping, Stocking material, and other duties assigned by the team leader.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming Materials utilizing SAP.
• Inspects for damage, verifies quantity, and corrects paperwork.
• Processes material to be shipped to our customers around the world.
• Stocks Materials and pulls Materials from stock.
• Ensures Materials for shipment are packaged properly.
• Locates and counts Materials in support of cycle counting/inventory.
• Operates forklifts and pallet jacks on a regular basis.
• Capable of working flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be flexible and willing to work any area in Materials as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by the team leader.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver License.
• 2 + years of experience operating forklifts and hand trucks.
• 2 + years of Warehouse, Logistics or similar experience.
• 1 + year of ERP experience.
• 2 + years of Excel / Word experience.
• Able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds regularly and up to seventy (70) pounds on occasion with help.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 + year of SAP experience.
• 5 + years experience with Microsoft Excel.
• 2 + years of inventory control, loss prevention or equivalent experience.
• 2 + years of shipping & receiving experience.
