Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Logistics Specialist in Orlando, FL to join our warehouse team. Responsibilities include processing orders in SAP, inspecting and receiving goods, packing, shipping, stocking materials, and supporting the team with various duties.

The role requires forklift operation, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and 2+ years in warehouse/logistics plus ERP experience and proficient Excel/Word skills. Shift availability includes 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with potential for second shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver License required.
• 2+ years forklift experience.
• 2+ years warehouse/logistics or similar experience.
• 1+ year ERP experience.
• 2+ years Excel/Word experience.
• Lift up to 70 pounds with help.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials using SAP.
• Inspect for damage, verify quantity and paperwork.
• Process material to be shipped to customers worldwide.
• Stock materials and pull items from stock.
• Ensure packaging for shipment is correct.
• Count materials for cycle counting/inventory.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks regularly.
• Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be willing to work in any Materials area as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Team Leader.

Job Details

Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Location: Orlando, FL

Duration: 6+ Months (Possible extension)

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00/hour on W2.

Schedule: 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM & 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

The person will initially start on the first shift (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) and may eventually be asked to work the second shift. There isn't a specific rotation schedule at this time; it would be on an as-needed basis

Position Summary

They are currently seeking a Logistics Specialist in Orlando, FL. The Logistics Specialist will be working in a warehouse environment with duties that include but are not limited to processing orders utilizing SAP, Inspection and Receiving, Packing, Shipping, Stocking material and other duties assigned by team leader.

Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Receive incoming Materials utilizing SAP.
• Inspects for damage, verify quantity and correct paperwork.
• Processes material to be shipped to our customers around the world.
• Stocks Materials and pull Materials from stock.
• Ensure Materials for shipment are packaged properly.
• Locates and counts Materials in support of cycle counting/inventory.
• Operates forklifts and pallet jacks on a regular basis.
• Capable of working flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be flexible and willing to work in any area with Materials as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by Team leader.

Required Skills and Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma.
• Possess and maintains a valid Driver License.
• 2 + years of experience operating forklifts and hand trucks.
• 2 + years of Warehouse, Logistics or similar experience.
• 1 + year of ERP experience.
• 2 + years of Excel / Word experience.
• Able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds regularly and up to seventy (70) pounds on occasion with help.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 + year of SAP experience.
• 5 + years’ experience with Microsoft Excel.
• 2 + years of inventory control, loss prevention or equivalent experience.
• 2 + years of shipping & receiving experience.
