Under limited supervision of the Logistics Supervisor, this role involves providing logistics support, including picking, packing, assembly, sorting, shipping, and receiving orders to meet productivity and quality goals. It also involves forecasting and requisition of materials, as well as staging, cleaning, and screening processes.

Responsibilities
  • Unload, receive, store, package, load, and ship inventory items such as cable converter boxes, broadband modems, fiber cables, installation kits, network hardware, telephones, and accessories from vendors, distribution centers, depots, and retail stores.
  • Prepare, maintain, and file forms for material movement and transactions.
  • Ensure all receiving and shipping transactions are accurate. Track inventory movement from warehouse arrival to shipment.
  • Record daily inventory movements and participate in warehouse inventory and cycle counts. Investigate discrepancies and maintain warehouse supplies.
  • Train Logistics Specialist I as needed.
  • Operate vehicles responsibly, including pre/post-trips and record keeping.
  • Deliver materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory control, issue supplies, and perform vehicle and equipment upkeep, preventive maintenance, and calibration.
  • Prepare damaged or scrap materials for off-site return or repair.
  • Clean, test, and reconfigure customer premise equipment and power cords.
  • Package customer orders and bulk inventory items for contractors or other warehouses.
  • Operate forklifts safely, including daily checks and preventive maintenance.
  • Transport inventory to other warehouses or customer locations as needed.
  • Perform additional logistics and warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications

  • Effective prioritization and organization skills
  • Basic knowledge of mathematics and electronics
  • Proficiency with Windows-based computers
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Adherence to safety procedures and safe equipment use
  • Skill in using small hand tools
  • Ability to operate vehicles and forklifts safely
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Consistent attendance
