MSC USA is seeking an entry-level logistics professional to learn the world of shipping from the ground up. The role focuses on providing deadlines for manifests, ensuring overseas transmission and compliance with foreign customs regulations, and acting as the main contact for MSC USA and MSC Geneva on manifest files.
Based on an on-site schedule, you will work five days a week in Metairie, LA, collaborating with Export Documentation and TMS teams to resolve issues and keep shipments moving

Provides deadlines for the manifest to all internal departments daily to ensure completion of the manifest files. Ensures that all vessel manifests are transmitted overseas and that MSC complies with all foreign customs’ regulations and deadlines when transmitting the manifests overseas. Acts as the main contact for MSC USA with other agencies and MSC Geneva for all manifest files. Assists colleagues with DTX or manifest questions regarding errors and transmission of files.
This role requires working on-site in the office for five days a week, from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid work in this role, unless required off-site duties are being performed. The office is located at: 3445 N. Causeway Blvd, Suite 400, Metairie, LA 70002
