Piper Companies is seeking a Logistics Specialist & Delivery Driver for a full-time permanent position in Arlington Heights, IL. You will support shipping/receiving operations and serve as the primary pickup/delivery contact for customer equipment in the local region.

Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, updating ERP systems, operating company vehicles for pickups/deliveries, and using UPS WorldShip and FedEx to manage shipments.

Piper Companies is seeking a Logistics Specialist & Delivery Driver to join a well-established provider of calibration, repair, and equipment management services for a full-time permanent position in the Arlington Heights, IL area. The Logistics Specialist & Delivery Driver will support shipping and receiving operations while serving as the primary pickup and delivery contact for customer equipment throughout the local region.

Responsibilities of the Logistics Specialist & Delivery Driver include:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring equipment is accurately received, processed, packaged, and dispatched to customers and vendors.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by updating ERP systems, validating equipment details, and keeping assigned storage areas organized.
• Operate a company vehicle to perform scheduled pickups and deliveries, while documenting transportation activities and customer assets.
• Utilize shipping platforms such as UPS WorldShip and FedEx systems to create labels, manage shipments, and resolve transportation-related issues.
• Deliver a high level of customer service while following company safety procedures, transportation regulations, and quality standards.

Qualifications for the Logistics Specialist & Delivery Driver include:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse logistics, or transportation operations.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history and experience operating company vehicles.
• Familiarity with UPS WorldShip, FedEx shipping software, inventory systems, and general computer applications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills, with the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Compensation for the Logistics Specialist & Delivery Driver:

Salary Range: $18-$22/hr (USD)
