Job summary

CICONIX LLC is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support USAISR Logistics Division at Fort Sam Houston, TX. This role oversees inbound/outbound deliveries, coordinates at the loading dock, and maintains supply documentation.

You will manage packing/shipments, assist with procurement processes, and maintain records using DMLSS and MS Office tools. Regular hours are 0800–1700 with full benefits and no night shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience, 5 years preferred.
• Security & Background Check: U.S. Citizenship and a successful background investigation are required; ability to obtain government clearance.
• Additional Requirements: Willingness to comply with government vaccination requirements.
• Contingent position that begins upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Provide customer support to staff and coordinate with vendors and delivery personnel at loading dock.
• Receive, examine, and issue expendable and non-expendable supplies and equipment; process shipments and maintain docs.
• Verify accuracy of packing slips and communicate discrepancies to Procurrement/ Government Purchase Card holders.
• Load/unload equipment with pallet jacks, carts or forklifts; monitor medical gas storage; ensure PPE usage.
• Maintain property accountability and daily tracking of supplies and PPE; assist with admin functions.
• Research office supply items, initiate internal purchase requests, route for approval.
• Use DMLSS or similar systems to track property and medical supplies.
• Assist with shipping/receiving accounts (FedEx, DHL, UPS) and ensure proper packaging and documentation.
• Assist with turn-in of excess equipment to DLA Disposition Services and prepare required docs.
• Support records management for unit supply and awards items.
• Assist with Quality Control Register for supply recall notices.
• Use MS Office to track correspondence, create spreadsheets and slides.
