Job description

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator, Inbound Logistics. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in developing a strategy and vision for the organization. You will be responsible for managing inbound shipments to hubs and direct customers, ensuring the smooth transportation of products through shipment management, shipping method determination, warehousing, and documentation.

Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing business processes from factory to hub or direct customer under supervision, making routine decisions that impact operations.
• Track and resolve shipping, warehouse, and carrier errors, with manager approval for high-cost deviations.
• Validate and consolidate inbound daily tracking reports with overseas manufacturing and local distribution.
• Validate IOD, billing, and POD documentation.
• Manage diversions and returned goods (RA) tracking.
• Assist in carrier and 3PL management and performance analysis.
• Provide data analysis and reporting (forecasting, routing, KPI, container, and load management).
• Coordinate transportation for special projects and ancillary services.
• Promote continuous improvement in a highly matrixed environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to high level), SAP, WMS, and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of logistics operations from factory to distribution center.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; team player.
• Ability to interpret shipment data and prepare transportation documentation accurately.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good judgment within established policies and procedures.
• Understanding of overall logistics operations and ability to suggest improvements.
• Problem-solving skills related to delivery cycle issues and customer satisfaction.
