Job summary

LHH is seeking a Logistics Specialist in Portland to support day-to-day logistics, warehousing, inventory, and distribution activities with 3PL providers and internal teams.

The role requires strong SAP and Excel skills, plus the ability to own logistics operations, solve problems, and drive efficiency and service improvements across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 4–7 years of logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or equivalent experience.
• Experience coordinating warehouse activities and working with 3PLs.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and logistics reporting tools.
• Experience translating data into actionable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day warehouse and logistics activities with external 3PL partners.
• Serve as primary point of contact for warehouse partners, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, order releases, delivery schedules, and inventory movements.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, warehouse performance, stock discrepancies, and overall logistics execution.
• Partner with external logistics providers to address operational issues and maintain service levels.
• Analyze logistics and warehouse data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Track and report KPIs including OTIF, lead times, inventory accuracy, service levels, and warehouse performance.
• Recommend and implement improvements related to inventory management, operational efficiency, and customer service.
• Provide logistics expertise and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and warehouse operations.
• Travel occasionally to warehouse locations as needed.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Logistics Specialist to join a growing operations team. This position will support the day-to-day coordination of logistics, warehousing, inventory, and distribution activities while partnering closely with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.

Additional Preferred Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience using Microsoft Excel.
• 2+ years of experience working with SAP ERP.
• Experience managing relationships with carriers, warehouses, suppliers, or other external logistics partners.
