Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Specialist in Novi, MI to design transportation network optimization models and support multi-plant customer networks. The role improves utilization and service performance and provides supply chain support to global industry and regional teams.

The position is exempt/salary with a hybrid schedule (in-office Wednesdays) and an annual salary of $55,000, depending on experience.

Job Summary

The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for designing transportation network optimization models supporting multi‑plant customer networks, improving utilization and service performance. The role provides Supply Chain support to our global industry and regional business teams.

Compensation & Schedule

Work type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month

Annual Salary Pay: $55,000 per year based on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Hybrid, in office on Wednesday)

Essential Functions

• Involvement in the sales process: work with sales and operations to develop concepts, implementation of their designs, and assisting operations management with continuous improvement.
• Provide proposal support, data gathering and analysis and acquire product knowledge.
• Adhere to process methodologies.
