Job summary

LeMans Corporation is seeking a data-driven Logistics Specialist to support transportation operations, freight management, and shipment resolution across our distribution network in the United States.

You will monitor performance, coordinate LTL/FTL/parcel shipments, review freight invoices, and use TMS and Power BI to identify cost savings and service improvements. Collaborate with dealers, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure proper packaging, documentation, and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business admin, or related field.
  • 3–5 years in logistics, transportation, supply chain or freight administration.
  • Experience with LTL, FTL and parcel shipping.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting using Excel.
  • Familiarity with TMS and Power BI.
  • 3PL experience preferred; international shipping a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for carriers on shipment issues and delays.
  • Coordinate and expedite LTL/FTL/parcel shipments.
  • Review freight and courier invoices for accuracy.
  • Monitor transportation performance and KPIs.
  • Support cross-functional teams with transportation inquiries.
  • Assist with packaging documentation and shipping requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement to reduce costs.

Job description

We're looking for a data-driven Logistics Specialist to support transportation operations, freight management, and shipment resolution activities across our distribution network. This role is ideal for a logistics professional with experience managing LTL, FTL, and parcel transportation, analyzing logistics performance, and partnering with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to improve service and efficiency.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you'll play a key role in monitoring transportation performance, supporting domestic and international shipments, and identifying opportunities to optimize logistics operations and reduce costs.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary contact for carriers regarding shipment issues, delays, and resolution activities
  • Support Dealer Services, Sales, and Warehouse teams with transportation-related inquiries
  • Coordinate and expedite LTL, FTL, and parcel shipments based on business needs
  • Review and audit freight and courier invoices for accuracy
  • Coordinate consolidated container shipments to Europe
  • Maintain routing guides and transportation requirements for vendors
  • Analyze TMS, carrier, and Power BI data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Monitor and report on KPIs related to freight costs, carrier performance, service levels, and shipment efficiency
  • Partner with Warehouse and Supply Base teams to ensure proper packaging and shipping documentation
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance logistics performance and reduce costs
  • Provide backup support to the Traffic Manager and Import/Export Manager as needed
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight administration, or a related function
  • Strong experience with LTL, FTL, and parcel transportation
  • Proven ability to use data and reporting to drive decisions and improve operational performance
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience analyzing logistics data
  • Experience with freight bill auditing and carrier management
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Power BI preferred
  • 3PL experience strongly preferred
  • International logistics, import/export, or global transportation experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
