Job summary

Cooler Master USA is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to manage inbound and outbound shipments at our Katy, TX facility. You will coordinate freight, prepare documents, and ensure accurate ERP records while working with multiple teams and international partners.

The role requires three years of logistics experience, fluency in English and Mandarin, and proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin for Asia-based collaboration.
  • Minimum three years in logistics, shipping, receiving, or import/export.
  • Experience with domestic and international shipments and freight coordination.
  • Knowledge of HS codes, invoices, packing lists, and import/export compliance.
  • Experience with freight forwarders, brokers, and carriers (DHL/FedEx/UPS).
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP and inventory systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across Warehouse, Production, and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including international freight.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, customs docs).
  • Work with freight forwarders, brokers, carriers to schedule shipments.
  • Support customs clearance, HS code verification, and duty/tax records.
  • Coordinate receiving activities and ensure proper inspection and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate SAP/ERP records for receipts, shipments, and inventory.
  • Monitor shipment status, costs, and discrepancies; resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with Material Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, and Production teams.
  • Coordinate finished-goods shipments to customers and channels.
  • Prepare logistics and inventory reports and track performance.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Logistics Specialist to support inbound and outbound logistics at our Katy manufacturing facility. This role coordinates receiving, shipping, transportation, customs documentation, inventory transactions, and material movement to support uninterrupted production and on-time customer delivery.

The position works closely with warehouse, production, material planning, procurement, finance, and quality teams, as well as freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and teams in Asia. Due to the global nature of our business and frequent coordination with Asia-based teams, bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required. This is a fully onsite role with regular presence in warehouse and manufacturing areas.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability
  • Shipment Coordination: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including domestic and international freight.
  • Shipping Documentation: Prepare and verify shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, customs documents, and other import/export records.
  • Carrier Coordination: Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, trucking companies, and parcel carriers to schedule and track shipments.
  • Trade Compliance: Support customs clearance, HS code verification, duty and tax documentation, and applicable trade compliance requirements.
  • Receiving Coordination: Coordinate receiving activities and ensure materials are inspected, documented, and delivered to the correct location.
  • ERP and Inventory Records: Maintain accurate receipts, shipments, inventory movements, and logistics records in SAP/ERP systems.
  • Shipment Monitoring: Monitor shipment status, delivery schedules, freight costs, damages, discrepancies, and claims through resolution.
  • Manufacturing Support: Partner with Material Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, and Production teams to prevent material delays or production disruptions.
  • Finished-Goods Delivery: Coordinate finished-goods shipments to customers and sales channels to support on-time delivery.
  • Reporting and Recordkeeping: Maintain organized shipping records and prepare logistics and inventory reports.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve transportation costs, delivery performance, inventory accuracy, and logistics processes.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow company policies, manufacturing procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Business Travel: Be available to travel based on business needs.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • Bilingual Communication: Proficiency in English and Mandarin, including speaking, reading, and writing, is required for collaboration with teams in Asia.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, receiving, or import/export; manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Freight Operations: Hands-on experience with domestic and international shipments, customs clearance, and freight coordination.
  • Trade Knowledge: Working knowledge of HS codes, commercial invoices, packing lists, customs documentation, and import/export compliance.
  • Service Providers: Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, trucking providers, and carriers such as DHL, FedEx, and UPS.
  • Systems: Proficiency with SAP or a comparable ERP and inventory-management system.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel, data-entry, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Organization: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to urgent manufacturing and shipment needs.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across Warehouse, Production, and Supply Chain teams.
