Crystal Equation Corporation in Cerritos, CA is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage ocean, air and trucking freight, coordinate shipments with carriers and 3PLs, and support fulfillment and distribution.

The role emphasizes optimization of operations, SOP maintenance, carrier relations, KPI analysis, and continuous process improvements to enable long‑term growth. 1+ year in freight forwarding or logistics is preferred, with strong analytics and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of work experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry (Ocean import) preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to learn logistics operations quickly.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate openly and effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and with urgency.
• Strong work ethic.
• Proficient in Outlook and MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; willing to travel up to 10%.

Job description

• Strong customer orientation and strong negotiating skills
• Strong background in import operations, global logistics, and Customs Compliance.
• Coordinate ocean, air and trucking freight with carriers, 3rd party logistics providers
• Manage and support fulfillment & distribution activities
• SOP/Work Instructions maintenance and ensuring operational best practice in line with customer requirements as well as ensure operational SOP compliance
• Builds relationships with carriers, vendors, & internal team members, and helps resolve any freight problems that may arise.
• Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and support continuous process improvements.
• Constantly evaluates logistics processes to improve operational efficiency and support long‑term business growth

Requirements:

• 1+ years of work experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry (Ocean import) is preferred
• Candidate with strong analytical skills and the ability to learn logistics operations quickly are encouraged
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Great interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate openly and effectively
• Works well under pressure and has a sense of urgency
• Strong work ethic
• Outlook, Microsoft Office application such as Excel/Power point/Word

Pay range is $21-$26 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
