Recruitment Specialist - Hiring for Biotech, Chemical & Medical Device Manufacturing Clients across United States
Position context
- Responsible for ensuring import orders are delivered on time; keep the areas informed about the ETA in USA and Canada if delays occur.
- Facilitate the export of products to customers worldwide, including Asia Pacific, Latin America, EU, China & Far East.
- Manage orders properly, coordinate shipping/handling to meet documentation and delivery deadlines set by Affiliates.
- Coordinate with Global Supply Chain, Production, Shipping, and Logistics to resolve daily order fulfillment issues.
Knowledge and Educational Level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
- Knowledge of Warehousing, Transportation, and Hazmat materials.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external parties.
- Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP (R/3 and Business Warehouse).
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a global, complex matrix organization, preferably in the Animal Nutrition industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in import and export activities.
- Experience with outsourcing complex distribution and warehousing activities.
- Experience in project management with global processes and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience dealing with authorities and audits.
