Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to drive efficient operations in a fast-paced 3PL setting. You will supervise daily activities, coach staff, and optimize processes to meet safety standards and KPIs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of recent experience in a warehouse environment.
2 or more years in a supervisory role.
Forklift certification and at least 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members.
Implement strategies to ensure warehouse efficiency and meet KPIs.
Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
Verify paperwork and accurately complete all necessary records and reports.
Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, all product is counted, and maintain our product locator system.
Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory.
Implement continuous improvement action plans.
Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed.
