Job summary

Capstone is a North American supply chain solutions partner with extensive coverage across locations and services. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse/Operations Manager to lead staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and process improvements across a busy facility in Houston.

You will drive productivity, ensure safety and quality, and mentor a team of associates and leaders. A BS/BA or related degree with 5+ years of management in an industrial setting is preferred, with strong Excel and reporting

Qualifications

• 5 years of management/leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse staff.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implements the business plan for the assigned area by communicating goals, managing staffing, scheduling, and workloads to meet facility goals.
• Monitors productivity, analyzes reports, manages budgets, and balances daily deposits; supports department budgets and process documentation.
• Leads and develops associates and leaders by assigning duties, providing feedback, and identifying training needs; participates in hiring and evaluations.
• Ensures safety, policies, and procedures are followed; partners with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and adapt to changing requirements.
