Job summary

Signature Solar in Reno, NV is seeking a Shipping Specialist for 1st shift (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm PST). You will prepare shipping documents, schedule outbound shipments, compute freight costs, and document inventory to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a shipping specialist or in a similar role in logistics.
• Strong understanding of shipping processes, carrier management, and international trade.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create shipping documents and schedule outbound shipments (LTL, FTL, parcels).
• Assign outbound shipment methods based on price, service, and timing.
• Communicate daily with Manager on order status and issues.
• Verify information against bills of lading, packing lists, or other records.
• Collaborate with team to ensure commitment to customers is met.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
