Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Shipping Receiving Clerk at Mt. Juliet, TN. You will support warehouse efficiency by handling inbound/outbound processes, maintaining documents, and coordinating with drivers to ensure correct dock assignments.

The role also involves updating training and performance records, assisting with hiring for the warehouse, and handling general office duties. A HS diploma or GED is preferred, with strong communication and computer skills required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to manage "traffic" to ensure the correct trucks are in the correct docks at the correct time.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Warehouse Management Systems.
• Perform various inbound and outbound CMMS/ILVS functions.
• Manage receiving and shipping documents. Generate required documentation and execute associated procedures for discrepancies between materials received and packing list.
• Communicate with direct inbound drivers regarding proper locations for unloading, ensure inbound and reloads are followed.
• Manage Scanner/battery allocations to staff including trouble shooting equipment problems. Manage and update various databases for training, process walks, performance, attendance, etc., which are used for tracking process compliance, induced failures, internal/external errors, training history, etc.
• Manage hiring process for warehouse, including reviewing candidates' applications and resumes, schedule interviews, sequencing and drug testing, paperwork, and maintain hiring system within Ceridian.
• Telephone duties including but not limited to answering and directing phone calls, taking messages and checking voicemail. Order office supplies, various warehouse needs, labels and ribbons.
