Eaton is hiring a Shipper/Receiver I on 1st shift at our Youngsville, NC facility. The role involves sorting, verifying, recording and routing shipments, using SAP and RF devices to manage material flow, and preparing items for shipment with accurate weights and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Two years of logistics/warehouse experience required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, verify, record and route incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Operate hand-held RF units to locate and allocate material.
• Use SAP to process all freight and inventory transactions.
• Prepare items for shipment with proper containers, weights, and postage.
• Interface with shipping office, customer service, drivers and carriers.
• Coordinate emergency shipments and after-hours requests.
• Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions.
• Drive and inspect forklifts and perform 5S housekeeping.
