Job summary

RK Logistics Group seeks a Lead I to ensure safety, productivity, and performance on their shift. The position covers strategic planning, project management, performance analysis, and cross‑department coordination to drive operational excellence.

You will ensure scheduled operations meet quality standards, escalate issues promptly, and support supervisors and engineers with data‑driven improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics or related field.
• Strong math, writing, and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer proficiency; SAP and Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and RF equipment.
• Forklift certification/experience.

Responsibilities

• Mentor team members and provide advanced training for role clarity.
• Lead by example in professionalism, punctuality, and work ethic.
• Foster a positive team attitude to maintain morale and productivity.
• Delegate tasks and monitor performance to meet daily quotas.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean and 5S principles.
• Manage inbound/outbound shipments and material transactions.
