Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for full-time screening compliance at our Romeoville, IL location. You will screen individuals and monitor access points to help maintain a secure environment at a logistics and distribution site.

You will provide professional customer service, report security concerns, and assist with incident response. This role requires a high school diploma and passing background checks and drug screening where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or packages; operate screening equipment and inspections as assigned.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document entry/exit of authorized personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and prepare clear activity reports.
