Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Screening Specialist in Romeoville, IL to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution settings. You will screen individuals and materials, monitor access points, and report security concerns while delivering professional customer service.

As a Screener, you’ll support smooth operations at a dynamic logistics location, perform routine patrols, verify credentials, and respond to incidents with calm, decisive action.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following site screening procedures.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and vehicles entering or exiting the location per procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping documents, report irregularities.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms and communicate observations through required reporting channels.
• Conduct patrols of entrances, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter areas.
