Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Document Screening) in Carol Stream, IL to safeguard clients and screen personnel and visitors at a logistics and distribution site. You will provide professional customer service and monitor access points to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include screening entrants, inspecting items, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Minimum requirements include 18+ for unarmed roles, a high school diploma, background check, and drug

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment depending on state/local laws.
• Unarmed roles require at least 18 years of age; armed roles require 21+.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering designated areas per screening procedures.
• Inspect packages and personal items as directed; document and report prohibited or unusual items to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
