Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Security Officer to staff the Fountain, CO location on a full-time basis.

The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to keep people and property safe. You will greet visitors, assist drivers, maintain records, and uphold safety policies while delivering professional service and de-escalation when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant during shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and escalation.

Responsabilités

• Reception centered role responsible for maintaining a professional, welcoming, calm, and secure front desk environment.
• Maintain and monitor reception area.
• Greet and check in employees, visitors, vendors, and other authorized personnel.
• Assist truck drivers with check-in, directions, documentation, and site procedures.
• Maintain organized records and file documentation appropriately.
• Respond professionally to queries and routine situations.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Logistics Security Officer — Full Time

Site Location: Fountain, CO

Wage: $17.00/HR

Schedule: Ability to work 2nd & 3rd Shifts

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

What Your Day May Look Like

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
