Securitas US Business Unit in Westfield, Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Security Officer on the 3rd shift. The position offers a wage of $16.00 per hour and weekday scheduling to help protect people and assets on site.

The role involves patrolling, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies while maintaining safety protocols and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must work independently.
• Must remain calm under pressure.
• Attention to detail and vigilance during shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid judgement and escalation.
• Strong observational skills, communication, and quick decision-making.

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular patrols of premises to identify risks.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying IDs and visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and incidents.
• Enforce security protocols and company rules for premises, personnel, visitors.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities and security breaches.

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Objectives

• Ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and company assets.
• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Help prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and other security threats.

• Enforce security protocols, company rules, and regulations for premises, personnel, and visitors.

• Investigate suspicious activities, behavior, and security breaches.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
