The ATS Logistics team is growing, and we are seeking a Sales Team Manager for our St. Louis Park, MN office.

Position Overview:

The Logistics Sales Team Manager is responsible for developing and supporting a sales team, establishing sales strategies, and implementing sales goals and plans to increase revenue and client base. Focus will be on sales mentorship of an assigned sales team to guide towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth consistent with company vision and values.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the sales effort of a team as they secure, build, maintain and manage customer relationships through constant contact and advocacy.
  2. Support the qualification of new prospects via inside sales development.
  3. Provide guidance on converting inbound prospect calls to sales.
  4. Work with the team to make outbound follow-up calls to existing and potential customers via phone and email to pursue quality business opportunities.
  5. Create a strong sales pipeline with your team through lead generation, prospecting, and networking.
  6. Serve as a point of problem escalation and resolution.
  7. Develop cold calling skills.
  8. Reach and exceed targeted revenue and profit goals for the team.
  9. Evaluate individual employee performance against goals and expectations.
  10. Recommend development plan priorities for individual employees of the team and monitor against development priorities.
  11. Provide recognition and encouragement for milestone achievement and results.
  12. Create a culture of respect and engagement.
Qualifications
  1. Higher education (i.e., two- or four-year degree) preferred but not required.
  2. A good understanding of marketing, sales, and customer service principles.
  3. Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills.
  5. 1-3 years previous transportation sales achievement experience with proven ability to close deals while maintaining quotas.
  6. Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $85,000. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic as compared to others doing substantially similar work. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
