Job summary

Echo Global Logistics in Dallas offers a 10-week paid Sales Development Representative internship designed to give you hands-on experience in a dynamic logistics sales team. You will be mentored by members of the Sales team and partner with a mentor to learn the full process of becoming a rock star sales rep.

You will gain exposure to real-business opportunities, learn the logistics industry, and work on outbound prospecting, discovery conversations, and closing activities with a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at a university as a rising senior, with at least one semester remaining after completion of internship.
• Able to work in the Dallas office 4 days and hybrid 1 day a week.
• No major or GPA requirements.
• Must be able to start May 24, 2027 and complete the entire 10 week program.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and build a pipeline of new business opportunities through outbound calls.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand customer needs and position Echo’s logistics solutions.
• Deliver demos, navigate objections, negotiate pricing, and close new business.
• Manage opportunities through the sales funnel and maintain strong pipeline discipline.
• Set customers up for success through clear expectations and a smooth handoff after close.
• Use Echo’s sales tools and technology along with AI tools to drive efficiency and results.
