Job summary

Echo Global Logistics, Inc is offering a 10-week paid internship on its sales team in Detroit. You’ll spend the summer learning the ins and outs of the logistics industry, and you’ll be paired with a mentor to develop skills essential for a rock star sales rep.

You’ll gain hands-on experience by supporting client relationships, profiling accounts, and understanding how Echo delivers value across shipments. This program offers exposure to real-business experiences and potential full-time

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at a university as a rising senior, with at least one semester remaining after completion of internship.
• Able to work in our Detroit office 4 days and hybrid 1 day a week.
• No major or GPA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and manage account relationships.
• Profile and analyze accounts to overcome objections and generate quality opportunities.
• Present the value of Echo’s services to prospective and existing clients.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure world class customer service on every shipment.
• Work with teammates to prioritize and service customers in a timely fashion.
• Monitor progress of shipments to ensure coverage and on-time performance.
