BBI Logistics offers a hands-on Summer Sales Internship in Tampa or Columbus, designed to develop your logistics sales skills through training, mentoring, and real-world tasks. This paid program emphasizes proactive learning and industry exposure to boost your career in sales.

You will gain experience with our TMS, work alongside a dedicated mentor, and participate in sales activities, as you build a 200+ prospect list and network through company events this summer.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates pursuing a bachelor's degree; juniors or seniors preferred
• Passionate and eager to learn more about a career in sales
• Capable of completing the 11-week program at Columbus or Tampa locations
• Office-based internship; no remote opportunities
• Hard working and competitive spirit
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Gain training on the logistics industry, BBI's proprietary TMS, and operational tasks
• Work alongside a sales team and Account Executive mentor
• Manage freight movement and problem solve using the TMS and industry knowledge
• Learn how to negotiate and communicate with customers and carriers
• Participate in cold calling and customer-based role play
• Build a prospect list of 200+ potential customers
• Collaborate with interns through volunteer activities and company outings
• Be featured on the company-wide sales board weekly
• Earn the BBI Elite Sales Certificate upon completion
