Job summary

Amentum is seeking a qualified individual to support the receiving and shipping processes, ensuring items meet customer requirements. The role involves inspecting, classifying, and disposing of material per regulations, reading specs and blueprints, labeling, reporting, and operating material handling equipment under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), ability to obtain an MHE license within 30 days, and potential travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; may substitute experience for education.
• Must be able to obtain MHE license within 30 days.
• Ability to pass Inert Certification training.

Responsibilities

• Identify, examine, classify, accept, reject, and dispose of material per regulations.
• Read specifications and photographs as required in DLA contracts.
• Read blueprints and schematics under mentoring from senior personnel.
• Load material on/off skids, pallets, or stands.
• Prepare labels and basic reports.
• Operate tools and equipment to perform duties.
• Input data to automated systems for receiving/shipping tasks.
• Possibly operate MHE and maintain license.
