Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Material Handler to support receipt and shipping processes, ensuring items meet customer requirements and quality standards. You may operate material handling equipment and prepare labels while adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires the ability to read specifications, use blueprints under supervision, and lift up to 45 pounds. Occasional travel and shift flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three months general work experience.
• Must obtain MHE license within 30 days of selection.
• Must complete Inert Certification training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, examine, classify, accept, reject, and dispose of material per regulations.
• Read specifications/photographs as required and use blueprints under mentoring.
• Load/unload material on/off skids, pallets, and stands; prepare labels.
• Input data to automated receiving/shipping systems and operate related equipment.
• Count, weigh, and record data; apply tags and labels; perform basic reports.
