Job summary

Nooter/Eriksen, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Transportation Project Specialist (Level 1) to join the Logistics Team in a hybrid role based in the St. Louis area.

You will coordinate movement, distribution and storage of materials to ensure timely delivery to customer job sites, domestically and internationally. Ideal candidates have a BS/BA in Business, Logistics, or Supply-Chain Management, strong communication, and data analysis skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business, Logistics, or Supply-Chain Management or equivalent.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; professional and trustworthy.
• Ability to read, write, analyze data and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee carriers and vendors providing various modes of transport, packing, and handling.
• Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate supplier performance.
• Develop logistics plans with internal teams to ensure on-time, cost-effective shipments domestically and internationally.
• Evaluate transportation providers for supply base and future opportunities; manage service requisitions.
