Job summary

Leidos in San Diego is seeking a Logistics Professional to support procurement, shipping, and administrative tasks for Spindrift and Sculpin contracts. The role collaborates with the Project Coordinator, Deputy Project Manager, and NIWC teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliance.

The successful candidate will manage documentation, vendor relations, and material flow, while maintaining a focus on FAR/DFARS requirements and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of administrative and/or procurement experience.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interactions with customers, suppliers and management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Advanced Excel skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit required documentation for purchase requests.
• Maintain full accountability of all procurement requests and material deliveries.
• Serve as the POC for local procurements and logistics requirements.
• Assist in material forecasting to support R&D and Production activities.
• Create and maintain detailed shipping documents to track material flows.
• Research supplier status in Ivalua and support supplier onboarding.
