Job summary

Symbotic LLC is seeking a Logistics Specialist – Distribution Planning and Execution to orchestrate warehouse-centric planning for complex automation deployments and after-sales support. You will translate demand signals into actionable material flow plans, coordinating staging, kitting, and releases across warehouse networks to meet installation milestones.

The role emphasizes site readiness, inventory control, and analytical review of material flow to identify improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory planning, or warehouse operations.
Experience with multi-site coordination and project-based execution.
Familiarity with inventory flow, staging, kitting, and fulfillment operations.
Experience using ERP/WMS or planning tools to track inventory and execution.

Responsibilities

Support site distribution plans and align warehouse positioning with installation schedules.
Manage warehouse mix plans (SKU, quantity, timing) based on supply and project demand.
Identify gaps in material availability and adjust to improve site readiness.
Apply logistics engineering principles to improve material flow and delivery sequencing.
Coordinate with warehouses on staging, kitting, and outbound readiness for site deliveries.
Track site material readiness and support sequencing of warehouse releases to align with milestones.
Collaborate with Transportation to ensure shipments align with planned release timing.
Resolve shortages or flow inefficiencies and maintain performance reporting.
Drive continuous improvement in distribution planning and warehouse flow efficiency.
