Rausch and Pausch LP (RAPA) in Auburn, AL seeks a Logistics Planner with manufacturing experience, preferably in the automotive field, to optimize material flows and logistics concepts. You will develop logistics concepts for new projects and changes, attend project meetings, and support in logistics topics across interdisciplinary teams.

The role requires budgeting responsibility and strong communication; travel may be involved, and US work authorization is required.

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in business economies with a focus on logistics or comparable education
• Ideally multiple years of experience in the automotive sector as well as in logistics
• Cost and responsibility awareness with systematic and structured working processes
• Ability to work in a team
• Basic skills in ERP-Software
• Well above normal verbal and written communication skills
• Articulate, professional appearance and time management
• Passport holder with travel ability within Germany
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Aufgaben

• Planning and implementation of logistics concepts and material flows
• Prepares the logistics concepts for new projects and for changes in current projects
• Attend Project meetings and support in Logistics related topics
• Conception, development and sourcing of loading carriers and packaging suppliers
• Analysis and evaluation of customer-specific receivables
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams to achieve strategic corporate goals
• Planning and conceptual design of "internal" logistics and of material flows within production halls
• Independently responsible for the preparation and adherence to the budget in the relevant area of responsibility
• Responsible for maintaining and updating VP Packaging Instructions.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating PD Packaging Instructions.
• Responsible for supplier communication and management
• The jobholder is responsible for compliance with the environmental and occupational safety regulations as well as all relevant official and legal regulations
• Understanding and tracking tariff policies
• Responsible for packaging inventory
• Other duties as assigned.
