Swift Transportation is seeking a Customer Service professional in Woodland, CA to manage and support assigned customers and loads. You will collaborate with Sales, Planning, and Operations to balance capacity, improve service levels, and resolve issues affecting on-time delivery.

Two years of operations or customer service experience are required, with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of Operations or Customer service experience required.
• Ability to manage others, knowledge of the transportation industry preferred, ability to communicate well with others, ability to transfer knowledge, above average writing skills and organizational skills.
• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform Customer Service functions regarding a specific or assigned number or assigned customers.
• Collaborate with other internal departments to achieve territorial balance of capacity and freight while achieving high service levels.
• Provide direction regarding customer needs and requirements and capacity.
• Serve as an extension of Sales to expand business revenue by exploring all dedicated, rail and logistics opportunities with Customers.
• Monitor service failures and ensure on-time delivery; communicate with Sales and Terminal/Driver managers as needed.
