Job summary

Legacy Supply Chain is hiring a Freight Clerk in Oswego, IL. The role provides administrative support to customers and operations, ensuring business requirements are met while handling clerical duties on the warehouse floor.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan with up to a 5% company match, and opportunities for growth within a pioneering mid-sized 3PL provider.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with ability to demonstrate skill in business analysis, and/or a track record in executing company standards successfully.
• Ability to effectively communicate, interact and convey business decisions with many different levels within the organization.
• Knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory systems, supply chain management, logistics, customer service, reporting, system analysis, equipment and warehouse functionality.

Responsibilities

• Process paperwork for all live and drop appointments prior to appointments arriving.
• Signing of Bills based on quantity received.
• Generate paperwork for add on appointments.
• Account for shortage or damages of product on the BOLs.
• Ensure all Bills are stamped for shipments received and refused.
• Generate paper work for Drop Trailers.
• Ocean and International billing and document tracking.
• Track and report Trailer Dispatches timely.
• Pre-pare all receiving packets.
• Forward OS&D in a timely manner.
• Support Administrative Staff as required.
