Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clerical, administrative or customer service experience.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, or administrative support preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
• Ability to learn, navigate and use designated software programs as required to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Scan and assign customer orders for warehouse picking.
• Process and assign Will Call orders for timely customer pickup.
• Manifest truck deliveries, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Perform order lookups and provide order status information as needed.
• Process and assign cut and shearing orders.
• Utilize the order dashboard to assign work to handheld scanning devices.
• Provide strong phone and in-person customer service.
• Communicate proactively with internal teams regarding order issues, delays, or corrections.
• Support smooth interaction between warehouse staff and customers.
• Assist with clerical tasks related to order management, documentation, and data entry.
• Use designated software programs to support warehouse and sales operations.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support department and organizational needs.
