Job summary

Eastern Metal Supply is seeking a reliable Material Handler to receive, store, and move products within our Tampa warehouse. You will help prepare shipments, maintain accurate location records, and support safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include restocking, stacking, measuring, packaging, and assisting with inventory counts. Must have strong attention to detail, good communication with team, and ability to multitask; forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Clear communication with supervisors and coworkers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Problem solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and read a tape measure.
• Must be able to work Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Move materials from receiving or storage to shipping or production areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks or bins by size, type, or product code.
• Restock materials and fill requisitions for warehouse needs.
• Pack, band, and prepare materials for shipping or delivery.
• Measure, cut, and package materials according to order specs.
• Maintain accurate Material Movement paperwork and inventory records.
• Operate forklift and report any damage or maintenance needs.
• Load delivery trucks for next-day deliveries and assist with inventory counts.
