Job summary

General Mills' Richmond, IN facility is hiring for a Logistics Operator, Blue Buffalo. The role supports packaging and shipping in a 12-hour night/day shift schedule, with a $24.44 per hour base and a $1.00 night differential.

This position requires forklift experience and the ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment. You will load outbound product, maintain warehouse operations, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Experience in warehouse operations and WMS preferred (SAP, Blue Yonder).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material-handling equipment in production and warehouse areas.
• Load and inspect outbound finished product per customer specifications.
• Assist in training new employees and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support loading, unloading, and storage of finished goods and materials.
• Ensure safety protocols and PPE usage in a 24/7 plant environment.
• Work overtime as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
