Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in The Dalles, OR is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a day-shift warehouse team. You will supervise the team, plan schedules, coach staff, and ensure efficient, safe operations while delivering outstanding service.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a 2-year track record in warehousing, proficiency with MS Office and scanners, and flexibility for overtime. Bachelor’s in logistics or related field and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.
• 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment.
• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse.
• Prepare schedules.
• Supervise the team and provide training and coaching to improve performance.
• Monitor work quality to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrate understanding of the company quality policy.
• Adhere to the GXO 7S program.
• Communicate with leadership, team members and other departments.
