Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor Logistics to oversee daily logistics operations, coach staff, and drive improvements in processes. You will collaborate with the Logistics Manager to plan processes, establish schedules, and maintain KPI performance across the site.

You will lead the team, address performance issues, and uphold health, safety, and security initiatives while fostering a diverse, inclusive work environment and strong labor relations.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• 0 to One year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review all logistics processes with the Logistics Manager.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of workers.
• Accountable for site KPI and performance results.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Conduct regular team meetings, provide feedback and coaching.
• Address performance problems through corrective action and discipline.
• Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations.
• Ensure health & safety and security initiatives are followed.
