Job summary

Maersk in Savannah, GA seeks an Operations Supervisor to manage the daily return and reconciliation for appliance delivery teams serving a major national retailer. You will coordinate dock operations, verify returns, and maintain accurate records across transportation and warehouse systems.

The role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication with drivers and customers, and flexibility to work overtime with a stable Tuesday–Saturday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, dispatch, delivery or operations preferred.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse with active dock operations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient with computers and willing to learn transportation and warehouse management systems.
• Flexible to work overtime when operational needs require.
• Excellent communication with drivers, contractors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor delivery routes and track progress using company systems.
• Coordinate inbound traffic and manage dock operations during returns.
• Check drivers back into the warehouse after route completion.
• Verify returned appliances and inventory are reconciled.
• Review route paperwork and inventory records for accuracy.
• Escalate service issues and inventory discrepancies to management.
• Remain on-site until final route returns and end-of-day processes are complete.
• Assist with additional warehouse and operational tasks as needed.
