Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to support the coordination of truck, rail, and international shipments. The role involves communicating with shippers and carriers, tracking shipments, and providing issue resolution for customers.

The position runs from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with regular overtime on Saturdays as needed. Salary is competitive with benefits and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year warehouse or logistics experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team or alone.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating export/import shipments.
• Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments.
• Track and trace all shipments.
• Update and maintain Transportation Management System – SAP.
• Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports.
• Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends.
• Proactively identify problems to management.
• Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed.
• Prepare client invoice packets.
• Confirm rates with carriers.
